ABOUT CUK
The Central University of Kerala (CUK) started functioning from 2 March 2009 with the mission of extending the scope of learning through a holistic methodology that accommodates diverse linguistic, scientific and cultural traditions. CUK currently runs six integrated MPhil/PhD programmes and nine MA/MSc programmes. Established in Kasaragod, a centre of various cultural forms and linguistic diversity, the CUK hopes to lend a new academic perspective to its student community and create a paradigm shift in higher education in the country. The Katha series of Lectures and Public Interface Programmes is a modest attempt towards defining our visionary objectives.
